Dogwood Terrace

Dogwood Terrace’s two, three, four and five bedroom family homes for JENL, SNCO, CGO and FGO rank bands all lie within rolling terrain supporting the abundant wildlife. Dogwood Terrace fully supports an active lifestyle, with two large recreational parks. Dogwood Terrace has its very own Neighborhood Center, ripe with entertainment. Maple Terrace

Located on North Fort, Maple Terrace’s two and three-bedroom homes for JENL and CGO rank bands range in size from 1074 to 1,583 square feet. These homes are currently receiving moderate renovations to modernize the interiors. Fort Polk's second community center opened in May 2009 in Maple Terrace. The Acadian-style luxury facility is open to all Army families living on post at Fort Polk, offering numerous amenities for Army families, including a club room, multipurpose room, media room, Wii game room, fitness room, computer lab, laundry facility, Olympic-size swimming pool, and even a kiddie pool and playground. And to keep the little ones happy and active, Maple Terrace now has 15 new playgrounds, so there’s plenty of fun to go around!

Palmetto Terrace

Palmetto Terrace is the perfect example of how family housing and Fort Polk are constantly improving. New homes have a sleek design and have all the amenities the modern Army family needs. The older homes were built in the mid 1970s and have since been through extensive renovations. Two, three, four and five bedroom homes are available for JENL, SNCO and CGO rank bands. Residents of Palmetto Terrace are lucky to have one of the two Neighborhood Centers at Fort Polk right down the street. In addition, Palmetto Terrace is conveniently located near South Polk Elementary School, the library, the commissary, PX and walking trails.
